摘要
In this study, it is aimed to investigate the equilibrium and kinetic data of the malachite green adsorption onto the peanut shell. XRD, SEM and FTIR analyzes were carried out by determining the surface properties of peanuts. The effects of initial malachite green concentration, adsorbent amount and temperature were evaluatedon the adsorption yield. The best fitting isotherm model was the Langmuir and kinetics model was pseudo-second order for malachite green adsorption onto peanut shell. Adsorption experiments showed that the maximum malachite green adsorption capacity of agricultural waste is 41.49 mg.g(-1).
