The role of the State, governance and regional development of tourism in Chile

This research aims analize the role of the State about governance in the regional development of tourism in Chile, through a relation between a theoretic analysis and a knowledge situated of my research experience in eleven years, in the regions of Araucania, Los Rios, Los Lagos y Aysen - Chile. The main results are the analysis and description about governance process and associativity of tourism in regions of Chile, and about How these processes are linked with New Public Management (NPM) and New Public Governance (NPG)?
