摘要
Suspended sediments are the carrier of pollutants, it's extremely important to research the distribution of nutrients in suspended sediments and the sources of suspended sediments to the management of water environment. This paper analyzes temporal and spatial variation of nutrients in suspended sediments and establishes the geochemical model to quantitatively determine the sources of suspended sediments in Dongtiaoxi River. The results showed that contents of nutrients in suspended sediments in the downstream were significantly higher than the upstream and midstream, and were higher in dry season than in wet season. The correlations between nutrients in wet season were significant, while the correlations between nutrients were not significantly in dry season. The contributions of different source materials to suspended sediments were significant differences for different stream segment and different seasons. It's important to understand the relationships between land use and water quality of rivers in the catchments.
