摘要:
Aiming at realising neutron scattering experiments under B=40 T magnetic fields, we are developing diffusive techniques for neutron diffraction with a long pulse magnet. For the present experiments, we succeeded in observing the spin-flop transition of the antiferromagnet MnF2 around B=10T using a 20T pulsed magnet on a neutron spectrometer installed at a reactor. 35 T pulsed magnetic fields were also successfully generated.
