摘要
The aim of this paper is to analyze in detail the existing transport system for passenger flows in the Aegean archipelagos and explore the possibility of combining the use of statistical data from ports and airports, advanced transport network simulation tools and 'big data' from mobile phone devices in the study area. The system itself is considered to be very complex consisting of many private seaborne and airborne operators that service the passenger demand of a strongly peaking holiday period in the islands of the Aegean Sea.
