摘要
The Ising on the cake: The cyanidebridged low-spin FeIII-high-spin CoII compounds of formula [{FeL(CN)4}2Co-(H2O)2]·4 H2O with L=2,2′-bipyridine (bpy; see picture; Ow=water O-atom) or 1,10-phenanthroline are 1D Ising systems and the first examples of ferromagnetically coupled bimetallic chains which show slow magnetic relaxation and hysteresis effects. The compounds, therefore, behave as magnetic nanowires.
