摘要
The typical composition of the Al-Zn 10-Mg-Zr alloy is Zn-10% , Mg-1%, Zr-0.45% with Al making up the rest. Experiments carried out to test the physical and mechanical performance of the alloy under the normal room temperature. The alloy belongs to high strength aluminum alloys. The superplasticity of the alloy on the superplastic deformation has been studied. The result of the relationship between elongation delta and the temperature of deformation, the relationship between the elongation delta and strain rate epsilon, the relationship between the coefficient of strain-rate sensitivity m and strain rate epsilon and the relationship between flow stress sigma and strain rate epsilon were found. Our research concluded that the alloy shows superplasticity (delta>600%) with temperature range of 440 degrees C-550 degrees C. When t=515 degrees C, epsilon=8.4X10(-3)S(-1), the delta(max)=2110%. Another characteristic of the alloy is its good superplasticity under a high strain rate, eg, when epsilon=3.4X10(-2)S(-1), delta>800%, when epsilon=9.3X10(-2)S(-1), delta>400%. These two characteristics of the alloy opens new possibilities in the field of industrial usage.
