摘要：

Geological and geochemical studies on magnesite deposits and their ultramafic host rocks at Sol Hamed area, Elba district, Eastern Desert, Egypt, demonstrate that they derived form harzburgites and Iherzolites of Alpine type ophiolites. The economic importance of magnesite deposits can be indicated.
