摘要
(Figure Presented) Pick and choose: Amino acid phosphoramidites, in particular Asp-dAMP (dAMP = 2′-deoxyadenosine-5′-monophosphate) and His-dAMP, act in a template-dependent DNA synthesis assay as alternative substrates for reverse transcriptase. L-Aspartic acid can function as a leaving group during DNA synthesis and can be considered as a pyrophosphate mimetic in this reaction. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
