摘要
The paper describes Admission Control (AC) mechanisms used in 3G All-IP networks and their application to Packet-switched Streaming Services (PSS). A new proposal to enhance AC for on-demand streaming services is made. The goal is to use session-related information, such as session duration and average bitrate, to perform AC decisions based on knowledge about future network state.
