摘要
The objective of this work is to gain a better understanding of tensile properties of polyester resin fiberglass reinforced composites (FGRC) as a function of fiber orientation. The fiber materials used in this work is unidirectional glass fiber with [mo], [45] orientation and chopped strand mat (CSM). The samples were fabricated using a hand lay-up technique and were cut according to ASTM D3039 for tensile test. This work indicates that tensile strength is significantly affected by the fiber orientation of FGRC.
