摘要
A mineral systems model for the low sulfidation epithermal Au-Ag deposits of the Hauraki Goldfield begins with heat, H2S and CO2 from a felsic to intermediate magma, interacting with meteoric water and subsequently country rock, to develop a dilute NaCl brine. Faults provide the fluid pathway to surface with mineral deposition from boiling and/or mixing.
