摘要：

Ring-closing metathesis (RCM) of olefinic vinyl chlorides can be effected using the second generation Grubb's catalyst 18 (10 mol%, deoxygenated benzene, 65 degreesC) to assemble a variety of carbocyclic and heterocyclic 5, 6 and 7-membered rings in high yields.
