摘要
A novel power divider (PD) with dual-band filtering response making use of embedded stub-loaded quad-mode resonator is presented. The resonator is used here to replace lambda/4 transmission lines in the traditional Wilkinson PD. The resonator is designed based on stub-loaded resonator (SLR). By using even- and odd-mode (EOM) method to analyze the resonator, four resonant modes can be obtained. As two resonant modes are in the same frequency, stub-stub coupling is employed here to separate them. The PD integrated with dual-band filters features low insertion loss, compact size and high isolation level over the cascaded structure of separated PD and dual-band filters. Finally, a practical dual-band PD operating at 1.5 GHz and 2.35 GHz is fabricated, and measured. A good agreement between simulated and measured results evidently validates the proposed design.
