摘要
This paper introduces a reconfigurable front-end system that consists of a RF chip and two data processors (DPs). The system has capability of reading BD/DVD/CD and recording BD/DVD. It can be implemented with a RF chip and a BD DP for only BD mode and combined with a RF chip and a DVD/CD DP for only DVD/CD. The algorithms for improving playability and recordability of BD are developed and implemented. The system is filly verified with all kinds of real BD/DVD/CD. A RF chip is fabricated in 0.65 mu m Bi-CMOS process technology and two DPs are in 0.18 mu m CMOS.
