摘要
Microbial communities in the bottom sediments of the Akademichesky Ridge, Lake Baikal, were studied. The samples were taken by deep drilling BDP-96 (a 100-m core). Vertical distribution of the prokaryotes with different physiological characteristics was studied for the core. The phylogenetic analysis of the organotrophic laboratory-reared microorganisms revealed the clusterization of Baikal strains and species which have not been identified yet.
