摘要
In this paper a number of various theories as to the growth of medieval drama and its definition are considered. Processions as a form of drama are then studied: typologies of processions; the elements common to drama and processions such as dialogue, action, and impersonation; the 'staging' (locations) and routes of processions; processional 'props' and trappings; processional music and dance, and finally participants and spectators.
