摘要
This proposal explores the teaching possibilities that Judith Butler's gender performativity yields to literary education and classical culture. A theoretical framework links these three elements, which are involved in the Latin curriculum. Also, the contributions of their didactic usage to the construction of the students' reader and gender identity will be featured. This exposition includes criteria for an appropriate text selection for these educational purposes, and it offers conclusions on the viability of the proposal.
