The abdominal cocoon is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction that is usually diagnosed at the time of laparotomy. We report a case, show the features of MDCT scanning with multiplannar reformation, and discuss the preoperative diagnostic clues obtained by radiologic imaging and pathologic correlation.
