摘要
an ultra-wideband dual-polarization planar array antenna with the operational bandwidth from 10 to 40GHz has been proposed in this paper for satellite communications. In order to eliminate the external wideband baluns and complex feed organizers, this antenna is feeding by the unbalanced feed structures for easily fabrication and overcome the electrical and manufacturing limitations above Ku band. The performance of the proposal antenna is good with the active VSWR below 2.45 covers from 10.34 to 39.61 GHz while scanning to 45 degrees, and the radiation pattern is stable during all-planes scanning. The total thickness is less than 0.5 wavelengths at the highest operation frequency.
