摘要：

In this Letter, a modified Jacobi elliptic function expansion method is proposed for constructing the exact solutions of nonlinear wave equations. It is shown that more periodic solutions and the corresponding solitary wave solutions, shock wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions can be obtained by this method.
