Facile synthesis and assembly of Ag/NiO nanofibers with high electrical conductivity

摘要
A study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of electrospinning, which was used as a facile synthesis and assembly method for silver (Ag) and nickel oxide nanofibers with high electrical conductivity. A metallic compound was introduced into the electrospinning system to synthesize and assemble nanofibers with high electrical conductivity. A sample solution containing polyvinyl (PVA) silver nitrate and nickel nitrate were pumped through a nozzle and a high voltage was applied relative to a grounded aluminum foil, to form an electrically charged jet of solution and increase effectiveness of the method to synthesize and assemble nanofibers. The solution jet solidified with accompanying evaporation of solvent, forming continuous fibers on the collector. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to image the nanofibers, which revealed uniform morphology of nanofibers.
