摘要
Over the years, several rules-based fuzzy logic controller (RFLC) for a rotary cement kiln have been implemented. But, the result of RFLC depends on the preciseness that the knowledge of an expert is expressed. For a complicated system, to precisely represent expert knowledge is not easy, especially if the number of inputs and outputs are large. In this paper, we adopt a new approach of fuzzy logic control, namely constraint-based fuzzy logic controller (CFLC), for the control of a rotary cement kiln. We first introduce the architecture and design methodology of a CFLC. Then, the development of a CFLC for the control of a rotary cement kiln is presented, and, to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, simulation results are also included.
