摘要
Several objections has been issued on which is the most effective drug to prevent Supraventricular arrhythmias. Aim of our study was to evaluate the antiarrhythmic efficacy of Sotalol, Propafenone and Flecainide in the farmacologic treatment of atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) or septal accessory pathway reentrant tachycardia (AP), by TES. We enrolled 44 patients who underwent serial electrofarmacologic studies with transesophageal atrial pacing in basal state and in steady state after administering sotalol, propafenone and flecainide. Profilactic efficacy of electrofarmacological treatment with sotalol, propafenone and flecainide to prevent AVNRT has showed to be equal. Instead, in patients affected by AP, Flecainide has demonstrated a meaningly wider antiarrhytmic coverage.
