摘要
The paper presents the procedures and testing results of the centrifuge modeling test for a concrete faced rockfill dam constructed on deep sandy-gravel foundation. The simulation method for rockfill material and concrete slabs were discussed in the paper and the testing results were compared with the results obtained from numerical analysis. In this paper, the test on stress and deformation properties of dam, face slabs and diaphragm wall were presented, which shows that centrifuge modeling test can be a powerful analytic tool for complex structures and it can also be taken as a good reference for engineering design.
