摘要
This paper presents an innovative topology of series active power filter in combination with photovoltaic systems to regulate the voltage quality issue. The presence of voltage quality issues has enough capability to affect the consumer electronics and develop various problems in the connected network. The mitigation of these voltage quality issues is much important to reach the power quality standard. Therefore, suitable control algorithm is required for generation of reference currents which is useful for gating signal generation. In this paper, unit vector template generation technique is applied for the reference signal generation. A hysteresis controller is implemented for the gating signal generation. The expected voltage across the DC link during the operation of the filter should maintain constant value to achieve better performance, keeping that in mind a Photo voltaic system is arranged and fed across the dc link of the filter. The developed system is configured in Simulink environment and the performance of the filter is judged by analyzing various voltage related disturbances in static conditions.
