摘要
The aim of this paper is the introduction of a sophisticated testing method, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), used to study the interface between the hydrated cement phase and polymer after mechanochemical activation, which is fundamental for the creation of macro-defect-free (MDF) composites. The XPS results clearly explain the hypothesis of a chemical reaction mechanism in the interphase regions affecting the final properties of the MDF materials. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd.
