Brazing Ceramics to Titanium Using Amorphous Filler Metal

摘要
Experts share their views on brazing process for ceramics to become titanium using amorphous filler metal. Topics discussed by them include the titanium alloy called Ti-6Al-4V, joining of ceramic zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and titanium alloy, and effects of the zirconium-titanium joint on microstructure and shear strength. Extensive investigations by experts also reveal that the shear strength of the brazing joints is also strongly dependent on the heat times.
