摘要
The mechanical properties of VT6 titanium alloy with microcrystalline (MC) and submicrocrystalline (SMC) structure are compared in the temperature range 20-600 degrees C. The mean grain size for the SMC and MC states is 0.4 and 10 mu m, respectively. The alloy with MC structure is used in a state strengthened by quenching and aging. Conversion to the SMC state leads to 22-24% increase in the short-term strength and yield point at room temperature. With increase In deformation temperature, the difference in the strength properties of the alloys with SMC and MC structure persists up to 400 degrees C. Additional increase in strength of the SMC alloy is established by ionic modification of the sample surface with gold.
