Radical right-wing populism in Europe: discourse, appropriation of signifiers and displacement of meanings

The presence in contemporary Europe of the discourse of the extreme right and radical in the space of political debate in general, and in the electoral in particular, allows us to reflect on the transformations that have arisen in the ways of doing politics and the speeches that accompany it. The displacement of the meaning, the appropriations of the budgets and of the traditional values present in the discourse of the "other politician", and the different ways of constructing one's own on that postulate, are the object of this article. The propositions and derivative actions are taken into consideration with the aim of evidencing the means used, the strategies present in these appropriations, as well as, the usurped values to show the strengths and weaknesses present in the contemporary art of doing politics.
