摘要：

In the title compound, [ Cu-2( N-3)(4)( C4H12N2)(2)](n), an azide-bridged polynuclear copper( II) complex, each Cu atom is coordinated by two N atoms of N, N-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine and four N atoms from four azide bridges in an octahedral geometry. The [ Cu( C4H12N2)] units are linked by bridging azide ligands, forming chains running along the b axis. The azide ligands form two types of bridges, mu(1,1) and mu(1,3), which give alternating four- and eight-membered rings in the polymeric chain, both of which are centrosymmetric.
