摘要
Hypertension affects almost 20% of Canada's population and is even more prevalent in rural locations due to decreased availability of healthcare; lower income levels and levels of formal education; and higher rates of obesity, smoking, and alcohol use, among others. This article uses current evidence to describe the management of primary hypertension in rural populations.
