A simple method for obtaining a highly enantioselective enzymatic preparation from baker's yeast for the reduction of β-keto esters

摘要
Baker's yeast beta-keto ester oxidoreductase was partially purified using anion exchange chromatography (DEAE-Sephacell) and was enantioselective for the production of ethyl (S)-(alpha)-beta-hydroxybutanoate and suitable for kinetic studies.
