摘要：

The main objective was to study the longevity of imported dairy heifers in Moroccan herds. Data on a total of 1,024 imported heifers located in different regions were used. The main results show that, within a period of three years, 41% of the imported heifers left the herd of the first owner with 7% dying and 34% culled. Region and management effects were significant sources of variation. Actual production and reproduction performances were lower than expected.
