摘要
A number of knowledge management definitions have been explored and their classification is proposed using such criteria as formal aspects, process aspects and organisational aspects. Two knowledge management tracks - people track knowledge management and information technology track knowledge management are discussed in details. To focus on possible role of modem paradigms of artificial intelligence for bridging gaps between two tracks it is shown that knowledge management systems have their roots in information and knowledge based systems. The role of intelligent agents and multiagent systems for present and future solutions in knowledge management system development is outlined. A novel multilevel model of intelligent enterprise memory is proposed as an integration tool of different approaches.
