Asymptotic behavior of solutions to quasilinear hyperbolic equations with nonlinear damping

摘要：

A quasilinear hyperbolic system with damping is addressed. Some useful properties of self-similar solutions to the diffusion equation are given. Following this, apriori estimates for the local smooth solution are presented in order to prove global existence and obtain time decay rates. Furthermore, an example of the function f(v) is given.
