摘要
Oil/water interfacial viscosities are reported for aqueous mixtures of polyacrylamide (PAAM) and three different surfactants, i.e. sodium dodecyl sulfate, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and a commercial non-ionic surfactant, TritonX-100. The results showed that interfacial viscosity was dependent on shear rate, the interfacial viscosity decreased as the ionic surfactant concentration increased, but the interfacial viscosity was independent of non-ionic surfactant concentration and it was relatively higher. Based on these experimental results, a mechanism for PAAM-surfactant interactions was proposed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
