摘要
In this paper, an artificial neural network model based on the transfer function is proposed for parametric modeling of finite periodic arrays. The active element pattern technique, which takes the effects of the mutual coupling into account, is applied to the array analysis. A linear periodic phased array consisting of U-shaped slot elements is utilized to confirm the validity of the proposed model. The results demonstrate that the model is practical and efficient in array design.
