摘要
The double chamber potassium ferricyanide chemical-cathode microbial fuel cell (CMFC), aeration bio-cathode MFC(ABMFC) and no-aeration bio-cathode MFC(NBMFC) were built to track and compare their startup conditions and performances. The characteristics of electricity production and pollutants degradation were explored by disposing the aged landfill leachate. The results showed that the startup time of MFCs was in order, CMFC (1d) < ABMFC(5d) < NBMFC (10d) when NaAC was used as the anode carbon source, and the order of stable voltage of electricity production and maximum power density were ABMFC> NBMFC> CMFC. MFCs could be used to degrade the aged landfill leachate. The order of COD removal ratio was CMFC> NBMFC> ABMFC, and it was reversed with the NH3-N removal ratio.
