In Cabo Verde, literature and music are important manifestations in the construction of the archipelago's identity. The arts, literary and musical, find in Dina Salnstio and in Cesaria Evora, respectively, two voices that not only elevate the culture of the country, but also represent the feeling of belonging and the strength of the woman. Taking this into account, this article discusses the production of these two women, from the Cabo-verdeano context, in view of the dialogue between literature and music. To do so, in theoretical terms, it uses researchers such as Simone Caputo Gomes (2008, 2010, 2013), Franz Fanon (2008), Paul Giroy (2001), Conceicao Evaristo (2018) and, in terms of analysis, consider doing musical of Cesaria Evora and Mornas were the nights, of Dina Salnstio. The result of this analysis shows the importance of the production of Evora and Salnstio as an expression of the Cabo-verdeana culture and as a living space of the subjectivities.
