Method for correcting the effect of the inertial mass on dynamic force measurements

摘要
A method for correcting the effect of the inertial mass on dynamic force measurements is proposed. Based on the method, a force sensor with good static and dynamic characteristics is developed. The force sensor is composed of a strain-gauge force transducer and an accelerometer. The good static characteristics are realized by using the strain-gauge force transducer. The good dynamic characteristics are realized by correcting the effect of the inertial mass of a part of the sensor using the acceleration measured with the accelerometer. The performance of the developed force sensor is verified experimentally.
