摘要
Now a days, the outbreaks of foodborne, acute human gastroenteritis caused by viruses have been often observed in seniorcitizen homes, hospitals, kindergartens and restaurants. This paper (publication) reports 3 outbreaks and the methods of virus detection: An outbreak of gastroenteritis caused by Hepatitis A virus has been associated with the consumption of oysters in 1983 on the "Agriculture & Consumer Exhibition" in Berlin. Numerous people suffered from Astrovirus gastroenteritis after having a buffet at a restaurant during their company trip. An outbreak of Norwalk-like virus gastroenteritis has been observed on an international education camp. Only by the last mentioned outbreak it has ever been possible to determine the closed circuit of infections (kitchen personnel, food, participants of the international education camp).
