摘要
Over the past decades, a great amount of geophysical and geological data on the structure of transform faults has been collected. As a rule, the geophysical profiles crossed the faults either transversely or obliquely; much more rarely, they were located along these structures. Longitudinal profiles contribute largely to the understanding of the mechanism of the formation of the crust. The data on velocity distribution obtained from refracted waves along individual faults (their number is small) are presented in a fundamental summary [9]. The number of longitudinal profiles obtained with the reflected waves method is also small [2]. Hence, longitudinal profiles of wide-angle deep seismic profiling (WARP+WACDP) [1] are of great interest. One of them located along the Strakhov Fracture Zone is analyzed in this paper.
