摘要
Inflammatory joint diseases are not uncommon in childhood. They can be differentiated according to the time course into acute and chronic arthritis as well as arthritis in the context of systemic diseases. Acute arthritis includes transient coxitis fugax and other postinfection self-limiting arthritides and also septic arthritis, rheumatic fever and Lyme arthritis. Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is a chronic arthritis persisting for at least 6 weeks. These heterogeneous diseases are classified into 6 categories, oligoarthritis, rheumatoid factor-positive and rheumatoid factor-negative polyarthritis, systemic arthritis/Still's disease, enthesitis-related arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Furthermore, arthritis can be present in systemic rheumatic diseases, vasculitides as well as in autoinflammatory diseases. This review gives an overview of the differential diagnosis in childhood arthritis with remarks on the treatment.
