摘要
Published data on the acid-base properties of penicillin and cephalosporin antibiotics are summarized and systematized. It is suggested to classify penicillins and cephalosporins with respect to the acid-base type. The influence of the structure of antibiotics and the conditions and method used for determining the ionization constants of proton-donor groups in antibiotics are considered.
