摘要：

A series of aromatic polyimides has been synthesized by solution polycondensation of 2,6-bis(m-aminophenoxy)benzonitrile with certain aromatic dianhydrides incorporating flexible units, such as ether, carbonyl or hexafluoroisopropylidene. The polyimides were easily soluble in polar organic solvents, such as N-methylpyrrolidinone, N,N-dimethylacetamide and N,N-dimethylformamide, and some of them exhibited remarkable film forming ability. All the polymers showed high thermal stability, with decomposition temperature above 400 degrees C and glass transition above 200 degrees C.
