摘要
Satellite network has become very popular in recent years. The great development of satellite network motivates the research on satellite-air-ground integrated network to accommodate a variety of services. The concept of space service computing is predicated on moving some services towards space network to harness service capabilities that are currently untapped in space nodes, such as satellites, orbital stations, aircrafts and so on. In this paper, we attempt to sketch a big picture about space service computing with a hope of arousing interest of the research community in this emerging field. We first present a space service computing framework. Compared with the traditional service computing, there are many new challenges for space service computing due to the unique space and aerial environment. Therefore, we also discuss the challenges and opportunities in space service computing.
