Geoacoustic Inversion Based on Single Receiver Measurement

摘要
A geoacoustic inversion method based upon bottom reflection coefficient data collected by single receiver was studied in this paper. The bottom reflection coefficient was calculated via the amplitude ratio between the direct path and bottom reflected path, which was modified with the geometric spread at the same time. And the corresponding incident angle was then obtained by use of the timedelay information of the separated multipaths including direct path, surface and bottom reflected path. Finally, the sediment properties were inverted from the estimated reflection coefficient data through LMS (Least Mean Square) optimization. Numerical simulation and the water tank experiment indicated that this inversion method was favorable and could be implemented easily in practice.
