摘要
By using magnetic elastic neutron scattering measurements it is shown, that in (Fe1-xCox)Ge-2 solid solutions (x < 0.5) with crystal structure C16 there exists only two magnetic phases: the low-temperature AFI and the high-temperature AI;II. They have commensurate and incommensurate antiferromagnetic structures with wave vectors k(0) = 2 pi/a (1,0,0) and k=k(0)+delta k respectively. The third magnetic phase AFIII, which was earlier supposed from the magnetic measurements, has not been found. It is assumed from the concentrational dependence of the average magnetic moments, that the cobalt atoms, which have no local magnetic moment, suppress the spin density on iron atoms disposed in the nearest surroundings.
