摘要
E-Learning has gone through rapid and unprecedented changes following the profound advances in technology and mobile systems. This paper introduces the design and development of MaPal, an innovative application for student assistive E-learning built on a mobile platform. This application would allow a student to take complete lecture notes in the form of audio recordings in such a way that they can simultaneously bookmark the recording with 'subject related terms', search through them without a hassle and share their audio notes with their colleagues. These 'subject related terms' are generated automatically using an innovative mapping algorithm. In this paper, we mainly discuss the backend methodologies used to successfully implement such an application followed by a detailed analysis and experimentation on accuracy and usability.
